Marshmallow Root (Pacific Northwest Grown)

Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis) can be found in damp environments such as riverbanks and marshes around the world. Marshmallow Root has a long history of use as an edible food as well as for its health supporting properties. 

In traditional Folk practices, Marshmallow Root has been used to soothe and moisten the respiratory, digestive and urinary tracts.
